Getting into and out of an inflatable kayak can be a bit different from a hard-shell kayak, but it’s still pretty straightforward. Here’s how:

Getting into the kayak:

  1. Choose a calm area with shallow water to launch your kayak.
  2. Lay the kayak out flat on the ground or in shallow water.
  3. Hold onto the sides of the kayak for stability as you lower yourself onto the kayak, sitting on the seat.
  4. Slowly shift your weight onto the kayak, keeping your balance.
  5. Once seated, bring your legs into the kayak and adjust them as needed.

Getting out of the kayak:

  1. Paddle to the shore or a calm area with shallow water.
  2. Bring the kayak to a stop and stabilize it.
  3. Shift your weight to the side of the kayak you want to exit from.
  4. Slowly lift one leg out of the kayak and place it on the ground or in the water for stability.
  5. Use your hands to support yourself as you carefully lift your other leg out of the kayak.
  6. Stand up carefully, ensuring your balance before fully exiting the kayak.

Remember to always wear a life jacket when kayaking, and if you’re new to it, it might be helpful to practice in shallow water until you’re comfortable with getting in and out of the kayak.
